At NPOI’s first concert (1988), Wagner’s Overture to Die Meistersinger, Schubert’s Symphony no. 5 and a spellbinding violin in Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade.  We’ll do it again with violin soloist Adrian Demian!

4:15 p.m. – Grace Note Awards for 2019 are presented just after intermission – as each honored group receives a crystal etched award, honoring their significant contribution to the arts in north Texas.

Cheers! Silent auction

2:30 p.m. – Cheers! – our annual silent auction- in Carpenter lobby. Open an hour before the concert and at intermission, this provides needed funds to close our season of “Sundays at the Symphony” concerts and our work with Irving schools. More than 100 musical groups, theaters, museums and restaurants and other groups offer us gift certificates or season tickets. Bidding begins at 50% of their value.
